I Bet She’s Wet was down 21 points to Cleveland Steamers
with one player going Monday night. Alvin Kamara scored 14 points on a 16-yard
TD run and that made the difference as I Bet She’s Wet defeated Cleveland
Steamers 150 to 142 to win the 2018 Tower League Fantasy Football championship.
This is I Bet She’s Wet third title which ties them for the most won with
Cleveland Steamers and CowHorn LongBoys. In the consolation game, CowHorn
LongBoys defeated # YESSIR 153 to 138. In the wild-card losers game, 308
defeated Rodman’s Broke Dick for the second week in a row 123 to 85. In the
Toilet Bowl, Coast won high team scoring 199 points. For low team, it was
another battle between Smells Like Teen…Spirit and Not In My Chop House but
Smells pulled it out for the second week in a row scoring a total of 84 points.
That wraps up the 2018 season and I want to say thanks once
again to everyone who participates. Next year is the 25th anniversary
of the first Las Vegas draft so the North may want to thank about meeting up in
Las Vegas. In the meantime, everyone have a great holiday break!

Another week of upsets as 3rd place team I Bet
She’s Wet defeated South champion CowHorn LongBoys 175 to 116 and 2nd
place team Cleveland Steamers defeated North champion # YESSIR 149 to 132.
Cleveland Steamers are going for their 4th title (which would be the
most of any team) while I Bet She’s Wet is going for their 3rd title
and second in a row. Cleveland Steamers last won in 2014. In other action,
Hoosier Daddy took high team honors of the Toilet Bowl scoring 186 points. On
the low side, Smells Like Teen…Spirit barely outdid last week’s low, Not In My
Chop House, scoring 113 total points to take low honors by two points. This was
Smells Like Teen…Spirit’s first prize of the year and now means that every team
won at least one prize during the season. Lastly, 308 won the battle of wild
card losers defeating Rodman’s Broke Dick 193 to 160.

There was one major upset in the wild card round as 7-5 I
Bet She’s Wet defeated 9-3 Rodman’s Broke Dick 146 to 115. In the other wild
card game, Cleveland Steamers defeated 308 159 to 129. I Bet’s She’s Wet will
now take on South division champion CowHorn LongBoys while Cleveland Steamers
faces North division champion # YESSIR in the semi-final games. one hit wonders,
which had not won a weekly prize all season, took high team honors scoring 195
points. Not In My Chop House parlayed scoring only 10 points from their reserves
to take low teams honors of the toilet bowl with 120 total points.

In the North, it was a weekend of upsets as Sparky’s Oilers
defeated Bevo’s Revenge and 308 defeated # YESSIR. # YESSIR had already clinched
the North division title and Cleveland Steamers were a lock for a wild card
spot. 308 got the other wildcard spot. 308 and Cleveland Steamers will meet in
the first round of the playoffs this weekend. There were no upsets in the South
as CowHorn LongBoys and Rodman’s Broke Dick both won and finished with 8-3
records. CowHorn LongBoys won the tiebreaker and wins the South division title.
I Bet She’s Wet lost to the CowHorn LongBoys but still finished in third place
and got the other wildcard spot. I Bet She’s Wet and Rodman’s Broke Dick will
meet in the first round of the playoffs this weekend. Rodman’s Broke Dick also
won high team honors for the week scoring 209 points. This is their third weekly
prize. The Baltimore Ravens were the top scoring Defense with 21 points. The
Wonderlickers and CowHorn LongBoys both had the Ravens. This was the second
weekly prize for the Wonderlickers and the 5th for CowHorn LongBoys.
At the end of the regular season, there were five teams who didn’t win a weekly
prize – a pretty high amount (308, Hoosier Daddy, I Bet She’s Wet, one hit
wonders, Smells Like Teen…spirit). Two of these teams made the playoffs. In the
NFL Picks contest, # YESSIR and Rodman’s Broke Dick finished with identical
117-57-2 records and will split the pot. # YESSIR also came in second last year.
There were 6 teams within 4 games of each other so it was a close contest.

In a week where it needed a big game, Cleveland Steamers
got it. They scored the most points of any team (232) to defeat first place #
YESSIR and stay in the middle of the playoff hunt. They also won high position
scoring 121 points with the receiving crew of Julio Jones (27), Alshon Jeffery
(7), T Y Hilton (49), Stefon Diggs (32), and TE Austin Hooper (6). CowHorn
LongBoys are now tied for first thanks to their loss to then second place
Rodman’s Broke Dick. In the North, # YESSIR is your champion while Cleveland
Steamers and 308 are tied for second with Bevo’s Revenge one game back. # YESSIR
and 308 play this weekend. If the favorites win out, 308 and Bevo’s Revenge will
be tied for the final playoff spot and they split their regular season games.
The computer will have to figure out the tie-breaker. In the South, CowHorn
LongBoys and Rodman’s Broke Dick are tied for the lead with I Bet She’s Wet one
game back and the Penetrators two games back. These four teams are paired
against each other this weekend and the playoff positions will be determined
based on how those games turn out.

# YESSIR won their fifth weekly prize, the most of any
team, with their third high team honor scoring 204 points. Rodman’s Broke Dick
won their second weekly prize scoring 97 points with the RB group of Leonard
Fournette (26), Marlon Mack (6), Saquon Barkley (13) and Nick Chubb (52). With
two games to go, only # YESSIR has clinched a playoff spot and they’ve clinched
the North title. There are still five teams going after the two wild card spots.
In the South, CowHorn LongBoys have a one game lead over Rodman’s Broke Dick.
Four other teams have playoff hopes in the South. # YESSIR places second place
Cleveland Steamers this week in a big game with playoff ramifications. In the
South, we also have first place playing second in a big game.
November 6, 2018
The Penetrators swept the weekly awards with a big week.
They scored 222 points to easily take high team honors. The QB/K combination of
Matt Ryan (51) and Stephen Gostkowski (7) scored 58 points to beat 308 by one
point. With three games left, # YESSIR has the best record in the league with
one loss and a three game lead over the second place teams in the North.
Sparky’s Oilers is the only team eliminated in the North. In the South, Smells
Like Teen…spirit is the only team eliminated from the playoff race. CowHorn
LongBoys has a one game lead but everyone else is still playoff eligible.
November 1, 2018
I need to status on week 7 and 8. In week 7, # YESSIR made
a complete sweep of the weekly awards. They took high team scoring 214 points
and took high position scoring 124 points with the receivers crew of Emmanuel
Sanders (39), Robert Woods (12), Odell Beckham Jr. (29), Adam Thielen (30), and
TE Travis Kelce (14). # YESSIR has won both weekly awards for receivers and is
looking forward to week 11. In week 8, it wasn’t fake news that T-rump open for
Put-in took high team honors with 239 points. Cleveland Steamers and CowHorn
LongBoys tied for high position both using the Los Angeles Rams who scored 15
points. # YESSIR and CowHorn LongBoys now have four weekly awards while T-rump
open for Put-in won their second and Cleveland Steamers got their first of the
season. With four games left in the regular season, every team is still in the
playoff hunt. # YESSIR and CowHorn LongBoys have the best records in the league
with only one loss. They haven’t clinched playoff spots but are close. At the
bottom of the standings, there are three teams with only two wins but four wins
is currently in the wild card position. As such, every team is still eligible.
With that said, this could be a tough week for Sparky’s Oilers who plays #
YESSIR. The site says that # YESSIR is favored by 106 points. Not sure if that
is a record, but it’s embarrassing all the same.

The Wonderlickers easily too high team honors scoring 236
points. This was 58 points better than the next highest team. This was also the
first weekly award for the Wonderlickers. CowHorn LongBoys on the other hand won
their third weekly honor taking high position honors with 72 points with the RB
group of James White (13), Todd Gurley (37), T.J. Yeldon (9) and Christian
McCaffrey (13). We’re at the half way point of the season and everyone is still
in the running for the playoffs but not by much. CowHorn LongBoys did lose their
first game of the season to tighten up the standings in the South. CowHorn
LongBoys and # YESSIR are your only one loss teams while there are three teams
with only one win.
October 15, 2018
I need to update for weeks 4 and 5. There were five weekly
winners (one tie) and four of these were first time winners. Bevo’s Revenge took
high team in week 4 (217 points) while # YESSIR won their second weekly prize
with high team in week 5 (212 points). Sparky’s Oilers and the Penetrators tied
for high position in week 4 with the Jacksonville defense (25 points). Not In My
Chop House took high position in week 5 (56 points) with the duo of QB Drew
Brees (42) and kicker Harrison Butker (14). We’re down to one undefeated team as
# YESSIR lost once and 308 lost twice. CowHorn LongBoys are your lone undefeated
team. Not In My Chop House and Sparky’s Oilers both won which means every team
has at least one win.
September 27, 2018
The scoring was lower this week and CowHorn LongBoys
finally let someone else win high team. Rodman’s Broke Dick was your high team
in week 3 with 172 points. # YESSIR had five receivers on their roster and was
able to easily take high position scoring 113 points. Scoring came from Emmanuel
Sanders (30), Antonio Brown (21), Odell Beckham Jr. (19), Adam Thielen (24) and
TE Travis Kelce (19). There are still three undefeated teams (# YESSIR, 308 and
T-rump open for Put-in) and now only two teams with a loss (Not In My Chop House
and Sparky’s Oilers). Smells Like Teen…spirit got their first win of the season.
September 23, 2018
The CowHorn LongBoys were the only team to score over 200
points and for the second week in a row have taken the high team honors (217
points). T-rump open for Put-in had four running backs starting and they did
well enough to take high position with 66 points. Running backs included Lamar
Miller (8), Christian McCaffrey (27), Kareen Hunt (15), and James Conner (16).
After two weeks there are three undefeated teams (# YESSIR, 308 and T-rump open
for Put-in) and three teams without a win (Not In My Chop House, Sparky’s
Oilers, Smells Like Teen…spirit).
September 13, 2018
At least after week one, it seems the rule change regarding
receptions has definitely caused scoring to go up. The high score in week one
last year was 150 points and the high score all season was 197 points. 11 teams
scored more than 150 points with a league average of 162 points. 3 teams scored
more than 197 points. One of those teams was the Penetrators who scored 199
points but also had the misfortune of playing the team who scored the highest
number points. CowHorn LongBoys took high team honors with 205 points and a 6
point victory over the Penetrators. Also close was 308 defeating Bevo’s Revenge
by 1 point. # YESSIR and Not In My Chop House actually tied but # YESSIR won the
tiebreaker. Not a close game was the Wonderlickers 115 point victory over
Sparky’s Oilers. Though they lost their game, Coast did take high team honors
scoring 58 points with the combination of QB Aaron Rodgers (42) and K Greg
Zuerlein.
