We have our first winners in record breaking style. Just not the style you would expect. With the lowest scoring win in contest history, Seth Austin was able to win the tiebreaker and the Big 12 tournament contest. He scored a total of 9 points (previous low winning score was 15 points) while compiling a winning percentage of 56% (previous low winner was 64%). Also scoring 9 points and coming in 2nd and 3rd were Bradley Labus and Kim Benoit. No one picked Iowa State to make the finals much less win the entire tournament. Despite the low winning score, the last place winner didn't set any records. Noel Liebert scored 2 points and lost (won?) the tiebreaker to finish in last place.
